WCRF UK’s
Forever Fund helps you to cherish the memory of someone you have lost and at the same time helps to build a future free from cancer.
By setting up a
Forever Fund you are creating a unique way for you, your friends, family, neighbours and colleagues to come together in an ongoing tribute in memory of a lost loved one. You will also help WCRF UK in the fight to prevent cancer through its vital research and education programmes.
The special
Forever Fund that you set up can be contributed to in any way you want, at any time. For example you may decide it is fitting to make a donation on a birthday or anniversary or perhaps you would prefer to hold a fundraising event in memory of your loved one with the proceeds going towards your special fund. You may also have friends and family that would like to contribute to the fund.
| One special supporter of WCRF UK, recently wrote to us to set up a fund in memory of her mother:
‘My mother sadly died of cancer a couple of years ago. Since then I have become interested in the area of cancer prevention. By setting up a Forever Fund I can keep my mothers memory alive whilst raising money in her memory so that future generations might not have to face this appalling disease.’ |
